Description

Visiting scholars or HPU instructors present topics within their expertise. Topics are those related to language teaching but not currently in the curriculum. Example topics are English in a global context, language policies and language planning, bilingual education, pragmatics, and discourse analysis. There is no limit to the number of times the course is taken as long as the topic is different each time it is taken. Course Restrictions: Restricted to students in the Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages program and the Graduate Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
